To people who live and work every day somewhere, tourists are a laugh, getting excited over things we take for granted, and treating the humdrum and commonplace as sparkling and new. Well tough - there's a first time for everything, and this was ours:

In November '02 we visited the North-East USA for two weeks, and had a whale of a time.
