La Palma

The Canaries are a group of volcanic islands 2-300 km off the northwest coast of Africa. La Palma is probably the least developed of the islands in terms of tourism, which is actually a good thing. Apart from being one of the best observatory sites in the world, it's also home to absolutely breathtaking scenery.
